What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Proud that such a fine product is produced so successfully by such good people less than an hour from my home.

ALLHSS, how did you get that nice color on your Barlow??

Thanks a lot!

Just from carry and use. I've noticed that smooth ivory bone ages pretty quickly in my hands. Plus, I have to admit I've probably left apple juice and such on it quite a few times. It's a little lighter in normal lighting, also.

My dad & I both were humbled by Charlie's kindness & generosity last year as well! :) Such a great guy & huge asset to this addiction & traditional knives in general. Can't wait for this new batch to be completed.

That Ka-Bar sure looks good Jake!
I think I'm gonna have to find 1 one of these days!!

Man o man if I could get my hands on one of those soups. I'm sure they all have been spoken for though lol. Beautiful covers.

The Soup is looking pretty tasty this time around!
In producing these, the problem is finding the pieces that will work. It has the cutter at GEC tearing out his hair. There will be about 30 of them this time around, all single blades.
Wish I could provide one for everyone!:(

Very nice Charlie! Any chance of another run of third cut stags in the future I missed out on those beauties.

Man these knives are hard to track down. I finally got one though! I actually sent it back to GEC so they could fix the pins. They were pretty protruded and ruined the nice smooth feel of the covers. They had no problem fixing it for me. I just hope that nothing bad happens to it there or in transit back to me!!!

Charlie, thank you for answering my questions and leading me in a few directions to finding this knife. I'll be eagerly checking around for one from the current run!

Thanks my friends, for the nice compliments!
Glad you like them as much as I do!

I will bring a few to the Oregon show next month (hint hint!), so go there if you can!! No one has ever told me they didn't enjoy it!!

That is a fact! That show is the top of the heap for Traditionals. You think you've seen it all but guess what,,,you haven't till you've gone to the OKCA show! Older knife displays that you won't believe! I will be there this year!

Hey Charlie, my dad and I are making the trip to Eugene next month. Look forward to meeting you there and checking out your knives! Look for the handsome man that goes by Caleb. :)
