Nice knife
Wow, Brian! A cautionary tale with a happy ending. A comedy snatched from the jaws of tragedy! I'm glad you came out on the other side with a beautiful Barlow!

TC mail day! Notice anything odd about this one?

It's not quite on par with the Harlequin, but it's definitely a neat one! The picture doesn't capture it all that well, but in hand there's a HUGE difference in the saw-cut marks between the sides. The pile side saw-cutting looks like what's on my copperhead bone model, which is very shallow, faint sawcutting.
Charlie, have you seen any like this?
Payton that is a sweet looking knife. Does the other side have similar figure?
Well looks like you caught it in the nick of time! Flitz is pretty good stuff and you're probably right, a few more applications and you'll be fine.

I know you celebrated in advance, but I hope you have a very happy Saint Patrick's Day my friend
Brian - Not to worry my friend!! A little Elbow Grease, some Apple Cider Vinegar and some 0000 Steel Wool and that knife will look just like one of Primble's users, which I might add are usually quite the lookers![]()
