What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Today was the big day. Anticipation was thick enough to cut with a sheepsfoot as I opened the package. There, along with the much-loved knife tube, was a blue suede knife slip. Awesome!

Now for the really good part... opening the tube and pulling out the waxpaper-wrapped jewel inside.

^ Put in a new main blade for that Keen Kutter, and you'd have one heck of a mean barlow, Mark! Just a simple matter of finding one...:confused:

True Brad. That knife is like brand new and someone snapped the main off within a short time. :eek::barf::o

Mine arrived today, also Palo Santo. Very cool that the blue sheath was included. Once I figure out how to post pictures correctly I will lol. Get to add this beauty to my Days Work edition :thumbup:

I have often wondered how one of these fine ole Beauties ( stunning aged bone - bolsters of patina'd elegance ) would look with some custom ( Bruce Bump ) swedged steel!
