What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Yeah Josh, that Radio Jack was a great buy indeed! Dave gave me an ebony in the Radio Jack, only one I was missing. Oh I'm using my slip, I want it to gain more patina than my knives frankly.

Lol, it was a great and unexpected haul for us all. Sugarleaf, if I was only three hours away I would've been haulin it down the interstate for Eugene! Guess you had to work? As Lloyd said, who knows if we will ever see this much of the previous year runs at one time again.

Yeah, I thought about going, but decided to be nice and let Lloyd try to catch up a bit :D:D:D

Thanks Sugarleaf. No doubt you would have claimed your share but then again we still might both be stuck in Eugene with both our hands stuck in the same monkey trap on the same TC tube.

You couldn't have picked a better father :D

He also likes the Stew's Blade, though. If you were my dad (strictly hypothetically speaking -- I ain't signing no papers :D ), which would you rather receive, the Saddle Brown or this?

I think your dad would want both! An impossible choice! If he has none already, give him one with a sawcut bone handle. Save the Blackwood for Christmas!

I do too, ALLHSS and wasn't expecting to see any there. At one point Saturday morning I had my choice of a 2 blade or single version, I went with the single Spey. Something about the way that Spey hides in the frame that gets me goin every time!

Thanks Sugarleaf. No doubt you would have claimed your share but then again we still might both be stuck in Eugene with both our hands stuck in the same monkey trap on the same TC tube.

LOL, that would not have been pretty ;) Congrats again on an amazing array! Sounds like it was a great time. Would love to see a group shot of all your barlows with the new additions included.
