There's an old friend of a barlow,,,very nice Shapleigh Hardware barlow, roseskunk! Simple bone handles and tang stamped on both blades, great find!:thumbup:

Perry, those are fantastic pictures! Congratulations on the new TC Barlows! Have really enjoyed the old photos... my two grandfathers were WWI veterans and I was blessed to know them both. You've brought forth some fond memories. Thanks!
 
I love these old comic covers notice the title "people searching for peace of mind through PSYCHOANALYSIS". Heck I search for peace of mind through more Tom's Choice Barlows! HA HA. Lloyd

Wow Perry, tell your wife she has the eye for what makes a good composition in classing up these folding knife photos. Great pictures--your photographing prowess is really ramping up here my friend! Those TCs are among the best there are you should be proud. Lloyd
 
Yours too, Lloyd! I've been looking at them all week, when not working. Been carrying the #55 stag that Barry had and the TC in Antique Yellow jig. The jigging on that one really does it for me! Both knives are pinchable and a pleasure to use.
 
Very nice cross section of what's offered today, nugun! Many times I have almost pulled the trigger on the Schatt only to be pulled back by the hunt for a TC instead.
 
While I was doing some Barlow picture-taking, a creative thought hit me... hey, let's see if I can get the mandala optical illusion effect... you know, when you focus your eyes on the Daddy Barlows at the centerpoint and then move your head closer to the screen and the outter Barlows start to spin?

I am enjoying all these pics HUGELY!! I like how the old pics make the soups look old too!

The mandala isn't spinning, but my head is, thinking about those wonderful, rare Barlows Al!
 
I see lots of white, AL! I agree, no matter if they spin, just seeing these is enough for me, AL! Wowzza, what a great collection you have there!:thumbup::thumbup::eek:
Thank you Charlie, that's what I was shooting for. Older photos do make these TCs seem as if they're from another time.
 
Thanks, Charlie & Perry... I might have had 3 Barlows total before Charlie lit the fire with the TC Barlows, plus the many pictures of vintage Barlows he's shown us. It has been fun hunting for them and a pleasure owning them.
