What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Two out of three arrived today, a blackwood should be coming in tomorrow. :D

Thanks to Charlie, the GEC staff, and the dealers I was able to work with

Beautiful TC's everyone. Since I was not able to land one of them , I will just post another Barlow.

That is a very sweet knife Harry ... Great to see a bit of variation here (the TC's are a real nice knife but it can become a bit "same old, same old" after a while).
More info if you wouldn't mind Sir, looks like an Eye Witness ? Vintage? etc

Shawn - Great score on getting that 3 some, great knives
Can't wait to see that Blackwood

I really miss judged the picked bone. I really didn't know what to expect. Also, the varying color descriptions left me unsure. Boy I really made a mistake by not ordering a copperhead. They all look nice. Congrats to all.

Thanks Derek : It is a Taylor's Eye Witness in Rams Horn . I have 2 , the other being a 2 bladed in Ox Horn with worked back. Both purchased in 1914 after deciding to collect Barlows.
Had year of purchase wrong . 2014 not 1914

This 1983 Boker Farmboy showed up today. New in box, still has factory grease on it. I'm really liking the rosewood.

Not that old , but am not real sharp either , and can't type worth a hoot. Thanks to you and Mark for catching my typo. Purchased in 2014 . 74 years old in October last year , and did most of my typing in the last century.
