What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Dean - Thank you for the compliment :D The width is the same as any other 2 blade #15. It is really has a good feel in the hand. 1 more blade and the center liner is basically the difference. If you want tomorrow I will take my dial calipers and give you a precise measurement but by eyeball it appears to be around 5/32" thicker. You have a nice 3 some going there :D

Thanks, Ron. I'll trust your eyeball. 😀. I'm going to look around for a two blader and try it out.

GT, Ron, Dean, Charlie, Thank you all, I'm having a lot of fun finding these Barlow's.

Its A New Day times 4 for me so far :D:D:D:D

Evan does nice work yet again! Adorned with Catt Rosewood, which was Galvanically salvaged, at risk to life and limb, the wood is beautiful; so is the etch! Thanks to Mike and Evan!!

Got this getting old Colonial as a gift in the mail from Mark (clutchcarter) today. Thank you Mark!

I cleaned off some rust areas. Glad you sent it to me as found.;)

I was twenty years old when the Bicentennial occurred. The fort, established by D. Boone, is about two miles from my home.
