I hope you'll sent it back! LOL

Here are my TCs:

I've had a couple others, wish I could keep them all haha I have a great addition coming, if all goes well, also! I'd really like a spear in ebony and day's work in yellow bone, but we all know how hard they are to find second hand.

So what does the CNRFCC stand for? It looks like that's one of the beerlows and I know charlie signed all of them with an "I didnt' do it", but I can't figure out what that might stand for.

Charlie Not Responsible For Crown Lifter

I thought it was a cool little addition haha

Was a great weekend for Barlow's mostly thanks to Charlie and Great Eastern. I was able to obtain a full set of the Ancient Barlow's, only set of Charlie's Barlow's that I own and for me the most appealing due to my love of the old Barlow's.

Charlie also sold me a beautiful Robeson Strawberry Bone Barlow with a sheepsfoot blade in mint condition,

Then to my surprise Charlie gave me a Bluegrass Barlow with brass bolsters, what a generous gift, I don't know what to say other than Thank You Charlie!

When I got home, there was an auction purchase in the mailbox, another 1965 to 69 redbone Case. This one I got cheap due to some corrosion, however the knife looked to be barely used and will make a great EDC to put in the rotation.

The Rendezvous was definitely fruitful for lots of members. Great looking Ancients and those soupbones are making me hungry for a TC.

Those have to be the RR of caplifters...Rolls Royce, not the other one.:p:D

Alright Barlow Experts! I'm on a quest.

My initials are SD, I have a son who is SD, and another who is MD, which is also my wife's initials. I have a S stamped schrade barlow, but I'm looking to find out of there are any brands I can be on teh look out for which may have M or D stamps. I already have an alert set for Dasco knives (charlie's D stamped barlow). Just looking to see if there are any other I should keep an eye out for. I'd like to have one for each son. An S and an M would be great (I am aware of Schatt and Morgan's S&M stamped barlows, but I'm afraid of the queen QC based on the many things I've read).

So... are there any old barlow manufacturers or contractors who would have stamped a D or an M into their bolster?

Obligatory Barlow picture so you'll stop and read the post :p

Sarah's right, it is really hard to appreciate the wood's character from a photograph, when held in the light, it just glows, such depth but out of direct light it goes back to it's normal looking wood.

Is this a new blade shape/grind being used on the new run of TC barlows?

this was a new run of TC Barlows that came out recently made again special for Charlie but more so honoring him with his own Stamp on the blade as well as on the Tang. The 'Ancient Barlow' designed after the barlows of old that Charlie once sent to GEC to check out when he asked them to make the TC's intially with a Lambsfoot blade. So yes a
'new (old) blade shape'

Blade on the new TC's is based on an original Barlow that Charlie has in his collection from the 1800's. I saw the original knife at the Rendezvous and the blade is a dead ringer to the new TC's. Someone here should have a picture.

Well that was frustrating. The Ancient Barlows at Knives Ship Free (posted at 5pm today) sold out in 27 seconds. I had one on the hook, but it got away. Alas...

I feel your pain (identical result here), but they are great looking knives. Hopefully, another route to these Ancient Barlows knives will appear.
