Walks, talks and fits like a premium knife made yesterday!!:D

If the blades had been buffed to a high shine those knives would be considered "mint" on eBay. ;)

Gevo - This is the before picture of that KK. The pen blade was a toothpick and I got rid of it.

Super job on that one, Marko!!! A new lease on life for another 100 yrs:thumbup::thumbup: Don't let those others collect dust for too long!

The CCC is wonderful Wabi-sabi!! Glad to see you got it...I was wondering who would snag it:D

GEV - I couldn't pass it up. Too interesting!

AUGIE - you are really raking in the old Barlows! Way to go!!

Is that Logwood dye I see??;)

Thanks Charlie, Gev and Jack. Charlie, it does appear to have some remnants of the dye, not as much as the MF&S.

Mark, love the work you did on the KeenKutter.

I haven't posted here in a while. I am not in a position to keep up with all the great knives being produced and discussed, but I have my little collection of TCs.

Well, I've come to accept that it is one knife smaller. I realized that my first traditional, first GEC, first barlow, first TC, and most carried and appreciated knife was not in my knife bag a few weeks ago. I have tried to look, but I'm kind of in a transition period and it could be many different places. I have even had family and my girlfriend try to look for it, to no avail. So, I'm finally acknowledging that my TC Smooth Ivory Bone Real Sheepfoot is gone.

I'm not saying I won't keep an eye out for it, just that I realize it's probably lost, broken, or in someone else's possession. I usually don't get too attached to knives, or any objects, and have no issue with getting rid of knives (even rare or well used ones) when I need to do so. But I'll admit, I'm pretty bummed.

Anyway, all those new 77s look awesome. Wish I hadn't been away from the internet when they were offered. I really love that blade combination. Also those vintage CCCs are very cool.

A couple new ones today, a Craftsman Old Crafty, looks like Craftsman used a couple bolster stamps over the years.

The other may also have a Sears connection, single blade spear, nice swedge with the only mark being High Carbon Steel USA. From what I have been able to find this was a contract Barlow for Sears by Camillus. 1930's

whoa, I love that little Sears knife. Just a gorgeous swedge on that one. Beautiful knives guys.
And that TA Davison is outstanding.
Just got done looking over that Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet thread, wow. I got lost for a few minutes on that one. Thanks for sharing all this great info, and these gorgeous knives. I love this thread.

I bought a TC "seconds" (very thin covers and shallow jigging) that already had the etch gone due to use. I figured this was a perfect specimen to have reground by the great Tom Krein. I'd never mess with non-seconds TC, for the record.

Looks great! That knife keeps looking better and better. And that's a second!

Augie, that no name Barlow is sweet. I really like the jigging on that!

Augie-Is that PeachSeed? - I am sure it's not - but the name escapes me - similar to -if not indian Trail Jigging - like Jakes Peanut on OLD KNIVES Thread.

Duncan, I'm not sure at all, it does not look the same as other PeachSeed I have seen but I did not know what else to call it.
