What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

I don't think you have a long way to catch up at all my friend. Nice- no - VERY NICE knives btw.
I love setting up my knives and catching the light on the Swedge exactly as you have done on the Soup Clip point (3rd down from top ) - it keeps everything in perspective - keeps major sheen off the face of the blade and of course highlights the Swedge.
I actually very much love looking at your photography of stunning knives Sir.

Love the Russell Sarah, a decent Russell has been high on my wish list but no luck so far.
 
Very happy to have corralled this old and all steel Fayetteville Knife Company Barlow, circa 1911. Should have it this week some time. It reminds me a bit of the old Southington Co. Barlow that I once owned. :D:
