Thanks Charlie, I took a while picking! Having said that it looks like you've got its twin pistonandgears:)

It'll be in my pocket for the foreseeable future, it came with a lovely fine, thin grind which I've convexed. Lovely slicer now and as with everyone else it seems smooth walk and crisp talk:)

Great pictures, both of you! I am still entranced by the Antique Amber, all the more when I see such fine pictures of it. Or hold it in my hands. Not in that order. ;)

It looks like the paper says "Boy's knife" on the first line, so they're making a batch of single bolster spear blade BKs?
 
At first I thought they were pen blades, but now I'm pretty sure they are spears.
And yes, I agree the paper says [ 's knife].
 
Also, I believe these are also for a single blade knife, if you look at the paper. I flipped it and it looks like the whole thing might say:

Spear
Single BLD.

Ve-ry carefully! The derailleur is mostly horizontal, but even so my knife took a little tumble. When I first saw the above picture I panicked, fearing I'd managed to crack the bone along the bottom. :eek:

Fortunately, it's just a reflection. Whew.

Hardy little knives, these.

Thanks P yeah I really like the antique amber myself. That first one I had wasn't quite what I was hoping for so I sold it and bought this one and its excellent.
