What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Those ebony Lick Creeks are the first thing I noticed and since I read Charlie kept all the Ebony knives I figured that's where they came from.

That 2 blade sure is nice! Congrats on the score, maybe one day one will pop up on the exchange, maybe.

Thank You Duncan! :D
I'm still sorry I missed you and your Lovely wife when you were in the States, :o I would have been honored to shake your hand!

Well the #14 wheel has been posted for better than 24 hrs now and not one soul has asked about the Ebony hafted knives?

Dave

PS probably should have kept my mouth shut for Charlie's inbox sake. ;)

Charlie already let the cat outta the bag regarding the ebony knives ;):D

Thank You both for the correction.
I hadn't realized that Charlie already informed everyone of there existence!

No problem Willy! And the covers are Winterbottom Bone from S&M's Keystone series. I believe series #69 or might be different based on blade shape. They have a clip blade that I've seen as well

Thank you AusLoX a Clip blade would be even better!!

Can't wait to see Paul :D

Was glad to see you scored that one bud.

A better photo of the Brazilian blood that hung out with me today. Can't get over these wood covers.

That is an absolutely gorgeous knife. I thought my TC Red Soup Bone was the bomb. But this gives it a damn good run for the money (and craftsmanship).

Thank you Mr. Campagna for bringing us these wonderful Barlows. The Saddle Brown Sawcut on this one is my favorite. Its just real hard to bring out the nice browns in the pics taken.

I think this is one of my favourite images. Classic work. Well done.

How nice is it to get two COOL TC's in the mail on a hot and humid day:cool::thumbup:

Both 2013 releases, a saddlebrown saw cut Spey and yellow bone Clip...

Been on the look out for these two for a while, thanks Lloyd:thumbup:

There are so many incredible Barlows being posted here, as well as some very impressive collections!

This one just came in yesterday. I love the one arm blade style of the Stew's Blade TC. It was nice to have an opportunity to pick this up. I let my 2-blade go last year and have regretted it ever since.

It's nice to know that some great pieces of Lloyd's collection went to very appreciative hands!
