What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

My humble beginnings of a Barlow collection so far. The Kutmaster was my first. I acquired at last year's Rendezvous from a generous individual who inspired me to start collecting more of this historic style. I wouldn't have received my #15 if it weren't for a wonderful seller here on BF.

Nice pic Sabercat with those older baseball cards. Nice Barlow's as well.
Thank you very much! I am fairly new to posting here, and need a lot of work in my photo skills. I figured I might as well combine my two favorite collections on my first attempt.

There's a treasure trove of masterful photos and enviable collections here, and I learn something everyday.

Seeing as how I haven't taken my Boker out for a long while, I figured that it was a time to take her for a spin! This picture popped into my head after looking at some Barlows from the Great Depression. (I don't smoke, but I had the little cob for a costume piece and it seemed to fit.)

I have been on a soup hunt recently and have been blessed by these 3... one for working all day... one real sheepy... and the old fella

Thank you all , and yes the Ancient is the "old fella" :D

The hunt really becomes a challenge now for the Spear and clip blade soupsations. Shooting for the moon!
