  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

My latest from Cases recent run of Barlows & maybe the nicest of the whole bunch. The fine saw cuts remind me of my old well used Case XX Barlows that I don't carry often for fear of losing them.

TC question: I was looking at 2014 GEC production totals and I see some Genuine Barlows listed with the number 152114EC. Doesn’t EC stand for “end cap” in GEC’s coding? Can somebody straighten me out here? Thanks.

Ok I’ve seen it enough now to ask, what’s Wabi-Sabi?
Beautiful in its flawedness!!
Wikipedia ; In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi (侘寂) is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".
