What multitool or SAK did you buy today

I don’t carry a writing utensil, so I’m not sure what I’ll do with the pen holder.
Any suggestions?

Put either a small hone, a diamond rod, or a ceramic rod in it. They make pen shaped diamond and ceramic rods with pocket clips. Not sure whether there are any hones like that.

Interesting idea, my only concern with ceramic would be brittleness

This is not as easy as I thought it would be. Luckily I received an email informing me that my Runt is on its way. Gotta give H&T credit, they don’t take their time and make an excellent product.

You could start! Maybe a Fisher Space Pen, or Kaweco Lilliput? The Traveller's Fountain Pen in brass is another fine choice.

I appreciate the suggestions…pretty sure I’ll be ordering a Fisher. I know a collection of pens can happen just like knives, watches, and anything else, so I have to be cautious.

I bet you could wind up about 10 ft of paracord and stuff it in there.
Never hurts to have paracord.

How about a small EDC screwdriver/bit driver? There are lots of options, and many of them come in the same form factor as a pen.

Yeah but 10 feet? I don't know about that... not with your standard 550 paracord anyway. A smaller size paracord could work though. Maybe 325 or 275 paracord, or possibly even some Atwood micro cord.

Mate I'm totally not a pen collector. I have this very capable Fisher Space Pen, Trekker. It's small and sits away nicely in my pocket.

They still have them up if anyone is interested. I check back every now and again for Victorinox products and they usually have something at a deep discount. A friend of mine, G GaryC , gave me a Serrated Spartan a number of weeks back- Honestly a pretty cool knife. He said he got it for around this price. I've been carrying it ever since.
At 16 bucks a pop, it'd hard to say no... even just as a parts knife!

It’s not what I think of as “engraved”….the lettering is raised and somewhat abrasive with a gritty feel. Either way it’s cool and I’m sure my stepdad will love it. I’m sure J Jordan@DLT could explain the process better.

While I have owned several LM Surges for a while, I haven't had a black one. Now I do! That big online auction site had one listed as "used but never been out of the drawer." That description seems to be pretty accurate, and it came fully accessorized for a very reasonable price:



My edc is a very well equipped first generation Surge in stainless. So you know what that means? This one will be resuming life as a drawer queen! Can't mess up that pretty black finish! Thanks for watching! T-A
