What SAK are ya totin' today?

Nice crunch!

not a Crunch! My crunch is this one

the one you see is a discontinued multitool made by kersaw, the excellent and rare to find Kershaw A100. Was the first multitool ever to feature the OHO blade, I believe (setting the bases for models like the Wave or Powerassist)

It bites nearly as hard as the Crunch but is much longer and a bit heavier

Needlenose instead of "blunted" or "rounded", advantage in some cases and problematic in some others

I really like that tool!

Hmmm, that translucent green looks really good on that SwissChamp!

Thanks A.L.!!! They're a big improvement over the beat up blue ones with writing on both sides! :D

Here's today's....

The Vic Delemont S18 paired with my Case 6231 1/2.

I was wondering why it had needlenose as opposed to the normal crunch look, my bad!

Awesome Farmer Johnny!!
That green is cool!
Thanks! My old Farmer was getting a little long in the tooth so I ordered a new from SwissBianco in kelley green. Here's another shot:

On a side note, I see a lot of people using the awl on their SAK to strike their ferro rods with but I found that the spine of the saw has a very sharp 90 degree edge and throws sparks just as well. Save the edge on your awl and use the saw!

(Please excuse the posion oak infested arm)

Received this electrician from TLE Sharp in the PIF thread a month or two ago, haven't put it down since.

I've been thinking about picking up one of those for myself. How does the sheepsfoot blade compare to a penblade in terms of cutting ability?

I find it very useful, and use that blade a bit more then the main blade. It's cuts very well, really easy to handle and the wire scraper on the blade has come in very handy too. Love this model.
