Our greens and lettuces perked up fine by mid morning yesterday, so we’re still eating fresh salad. Time to start unhooking the hoses, but I have a row of special lettuce that still needs regular water. Hoping they size up enough before frosty doomsday ~ it’s a race. I was pulling a bunch of plants that the frost killed, and found a cute little head of cauliflower on a plant that had already given me a head months ago, so I chopped that up into the salad.
Same knives today.Little green onions don’t mind the cold!Have a great day!

These were all the rage when they came out, now not much seen or heard of them... still an excellent, beautifully made piece of cutlery that I seldom carry but certainly worth the revisit and carry more often. If I'm not mistaking, that one has Brown jigged bone covers on the mark side and Black jigged bone covers on the pile side. It might seem unique today but in the past, Case paid little attention to matching covers from side to side on the majority of their knives.

They are starting to even out a bit...
reddish/brown on front and darker brown on back.
