I like the old fashioned as forged/heat treated finish like 8th or 9th great grandfather or grandmother would have had. A nice change of pace from the over polished blades found on most of today's blades.

Mentioned the sawcut in my bladeforums knife wasn't as pronounced as I hoped for so Duane sitflyer sitflyer gifted me his. That's right, gifted. OG traditional. This shot doesn't show how much nicer the sawcut is (it is) as was interested in showing off the nice patina Duane started, I added to and stropped the edge. Thanks my friend.
