Absolutely LOVE that knife.
Cute pup.
I like your supervisor in the background.
Man, that looks fantastic. We used to make it every year when my grandma was with us. Always had a pig roast to attract enough people to stir all day. Our kettles were made in Bucyrus, Ohio and I’m betting that’s where yours are from as well. Need to make that happen next year. Cool deer photobombe!Carried this #73 yesterday and today while we boiled 42 bushels of golden delicious and stamen apples into apple butter.

I know one of these kettles was made in PA. We stirred by hand for years but got these electric motors a few years back. It’s still a lot of work peeling and sntting the apples and keeping wood split for the fires, and we ended up with about 21 hours cooking time. But all in all, it’s worth it!Man, that looks fantastic. We used to make it every year when my grandma was with us. Always had a pig roast to attract enough people to stir all day. These arrived yesterday from a Master's bench. I asked @jsdistin to rehandle a GEC 71 Bullnose and 13 Clerk with English Yew and Olive Wood respectively.. For the Clerk he added Rat-Tails and inlet a beautiful shield, the results are astounding, my photo is poor due to the lack of daylight now but you'll get some idea.
Thanks, Will

Barrett, the places you are treating Merle to are all to familiar...I'm pretty sure the ole Grain Belt sign appeared in one of the Grumpy/ier Old Men movies, cool pictureI’d seen the Bull Nose, Will, but those look even better together!
Great pictures, thanks for sharing!
I’ll probably carry Merle for a few more days, then he’ll be a ramblin’ man.
