What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Some of the Salanova®️ lettuce that I planted late. So far it’s been shrugging off the frost. It looks like by Friday the night time temps will drop below freezing again.
Hurry up and grow!
It’s becoming an interesting experiment. (If that sort of thing amuses you:rolleyes:) But it sure beats ripping everything out and giving up til next year. My goal is fresh salad for Thanksgiving.

I like 'em from the 70s too, thank you. :)
They certainly look good in pictures. I was born in ‘77, so I figured the 3 dots must be the best of the bunch. 😁
That's a beauty and looks better with some age. 🤠

Thanks, John. I think most knives tend to look better with a little patina.

Beautiful swayback Bart, and those new handles are really cool, great idea to repurpose that leftover material. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd. I made a few cutting boards also.

Nice work, Bart.
Thank you. The material is pretty nice to work with as far as shaping and sanding.

It's Monday already?

I carried a Bullnose to Fort Mountain for a foggy overlook this weekend. At which point I pondered, do all GECs go to heaven? Yup, but some go to flipper-purgatory first. Maybe the French Kate doesn't go, I don't know.

If I had an Ebony French Kate to go along with my Ebony Ben Hogan ... she'd be in heaven ;)
Looks like that 71 likes to live dangerously :o

Looks like that 71 likes to live dangerously

I'd probably come around to your way of thinking if I ever see one in the metal. GEC usually proves my leanings all wrong once I have a knife in hand.

No doubt. When I set a knife on a rail like that, a trepedaciousness sets in that causes everything to pucker up all at once. We'll call it aversion therapy treatment.

Wonderful picture. 🤠

Thanks, John. I'm trying to get these knives out of the house more often. I've even started using them for more than just pictures. 😂
