What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Gary. I didn’t know it came in Chestnut either, it just popped up and I snagged it. A couple days later it’s big brother popped up so I snagged it too! 😄Things tend to come in bunches.

You're on a chestnut jigged roll, Todd! :thumbsup::thumbsup: 🤓

Thank you, GT. It's staying in my pocket all week. The little bitty lambsfoot is turning out to be a most useful blade shape.
Yeah, I definitely like the looks of your Pony/Lamb interspecies special! 🤓:thumbsup:

I have neither of these 2 patterns, but one thing that always comes to mind when looking at a knife photo here, is “could that serve as my only knife?” Either of your pair probably could. Well, ok... along with a Swiss Army knife or maybe an electrician!
...
I do the exact same thing. 🤣
...
Thanks, Jeff. :) I certainly don't ask that question about every knife I see, but there are a few knives that capture my attention/imagination that inspire that question. The Case half-congress is too small IMHO to be a candidate for "only knife", but the EO wharncliffe copperhead certainly is in the running for that office, should I ever switch back to just one knife.

I took this picture before remembering I'll carry the Kutmaster Schizoid Jack. Probably some of the above also. Old Toffeewings for sure.
Quite a "starting five" for your team! 🤓

Edit: First snow of the season. But not gonna whine about it. It’s not bothering my romaine and other lettuces, and not going to stick anyway.
But the radio says @paulhilborn and @btb01 are expecting a blizzard!
I'll probably whine about the snow from this past Friday through Sunday.:confused: I spent a couple of hours in nice weather late Wednesday afternoon raking up leaves in the back yard, and mowing both front and back yard; there were still very few leaves down, so I just mulched the ones in front as I mowed the grass. Looked pretty good as darkness fell about 5:30. When I took the dog out at 4:30am on Thursday, I found that wind and rain during the night had finally caused a significant amount of oak leaves to drop, and I probably had 4 or 5 times as many leaves as had fallen in the 2 previous months. Then we got at least an inch of snow on top of the leaves late Friday afternoon and overnight, and more (not much, but every little bit hurts ;) ) Saturday and Sunday. The older I get, the harder it gets for me to live out my alleged philosophy "Shut up and play the hand you're dealt!" (especially when it comes to winter weather).

Thanks, Jeff!
Awesome shiekd. I miss the old barn roof billboards. So much better than modern eyesore roadside advertising.

Gotta travel the country backroads to still see them.
I always looked forward to seeing the message shingled into the roof of a gas station we used to see on US 31 as we traveled to and from visiting my in-laws in Indianapolis. There was a little diner inside, and the roof said, "EAT HERE AND GET GAS". 😁

Todd and Steve, you both had dandy duos of dark knives for Black Friday!:cool::thumbsup:

Sensational knife; the blade combination is outstanding!! 😲:cool::cool:

Have a great weekend everyone :) I'm going to be carrying my AC for Stag Saturday ;)

Your AC (and most of the others that show up now and then) is exemplary, Jack!:thumbsup::cool:

I carried this little guy when I got married. It has a lot of sentimental value, so I don't carry it to often. I'm just fartin’ around the house today, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to get it some pocket time. :D

Wondrous wedding knife! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

This was shot yesterday evening, as the sun’s still hiding at the present.
A grand lill’ number with me today….

They keep pushing the envelope with tv commercials. Just waiting for “But wait there’s more!” in an incontinence commercial.

Going down to just one knife is only a mental exercise. It is HIGHLY unlikely to happen!

About those leaves now under snow and frozen to the ground...don’t worry, they’ll be there waiting for you.😁

I have gathered them up with my trusty leaf blower and the grass catcher on my tractor almost every day lately, and now have some huge piles to compost. I’ve been chopping them up with mowers and a leaf shredder, to make them break down faster. Time for another load of manure from the horse farm.

So true... but TV aint bad either depending on what's on. ;)
We're still in black 'n' white over here! :D ;)
Thanks, Jack... Giving the Lamb a workout. ;)
Lucky Lamb! :)
So nice to see your Forum Knife out and about. 🤠
Thanks buddy, I'm enjoying carrying it :)
Good Morning Everybody and Happy Monday
Handsome choice to start the week John

I appreciate the kind words Gary :)

Now that’s a unique photo. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Case that looks like that. Pretty cool. 😎👍

That looks cool... What do they call that cover?

Many thanks! It's "Rainbow Corelon". This is my first experience with the material (in any color), but I am quite pleased with it. It's a bit hard to capture in static photos because the hues change in the light at different angles. I was worried I might not like it in person but luckily without reason. It didn't come with brushed bolsters, btw, that's just something I do with most of my Case knives

My carry for today. Inspired by OldHercDude OldHercDude to carry my Expedition more so I can get a pretty patina going! The Club shouldn’t be much of a surprise to anyone. Also in my pocket but not pictured is my little Micarta baby butterbean. 😊👍View attachment 1682145

Kind of surprised your Expedition is still so new-looking. The brass on mine started to color-shift just by handling it. Maybe differences in body chemistry? Anywhos, looking forward to pics as yours develops.
