What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The pair of fleece lined jeans I'm wearing is neither injurious nor indecorous, and yet the pockets lack voluminousness.
Thank you Buck, for a full-size knife even more svelte than this full size guy.

Here she is!
My new GEC #83. It took almost a month to arrive, but i'm glad it finally did.
It's a little smaller then i expected it to be, but nothing too crazy. I love the dark brewed bone on it, and i really like some of the lighter/undyed parts of it aswell.
This is my second ever GEC and the fit & finish is nothing less then i would expect from GEC.
I'm very excited for it to be in my rotation and i'm looking forward to using it!

I apologize for the many pictures ;)

Woooooooweeee... A White Owl... So nice.
I can't wait for you to share your thoughts on it while I wait for mine to arrive.
Thanks John. I’ll put some thoughts in the “White Owl” thread. I’ll just say here that you are going to like it! 😊👍
Sorry to hear your shoulder kept you from playing softball, Todd. I played on at least one team every summer from 1975 through 2017. But I had a cataract that was getting so bad in 2017 that I started to worry about fly balls hitting me in the face, so I sat out 2018. I had cataract surgery in January and March of 2019, but there were complications so I told my church team I couldn't commit to playing that summer. Then 2020 was COVID and the "athletic complex" at which we played closed before the 2021 season, so I didn't play last summer either. At least I'm back to playing basketball again, wearing masks - but I can play without glasses now!

Maybe I'm older than I think I am, and half of my vocabulary is "vintage" and only other geezers understand me! 🧙‍♂️ 😁

The shoulder injury hasn’t stopped me from doing much, except of course throwing out the guys trying to stretch a single into a double or the guys tagging up on a fly ball! 🤣
Gary, that’s an impressive playing career…for an “old” guy! 🤣🤣🤣

That’s a beautiful 83 Kevin. 😎👍

hope all our US members have a very happy Thanksgiving Day tomorrow, and that you get to spend some time with your families and loved ones :) No holiday here tomorrow, so I'll be working my fingers to the bone at my local fleamarket, and sweating over a hot chip butty ;)

It sounds like a mighty fine day you have planned; you're very well prepared with those two spectacular slicers, too! ;)

It's probably because of the holiday season that's upon us, but that knife of yours always reminds me of Dickens' A Christmas Carol, even though I realize Scrooge's late partner was named Marley, not Morley
I can understand the Chrismas Carol Marley association. I'm a big fan of W.H.Morley. Partly because they're well made knives

and partly because they remind me of The X-Files. :D

Thank you very much JJ :) I probably won't have as much as my friends across The Pond, but hopefully it'll still be a good day :) I hope you have a fantastic time my friend

I came across a Christmas Carol connection in a small Yorkshire market town (on 'The Wizards Quest') a few years ago. I have a knife photo with that door-knocker, but I've no idea which knife I was carrying that day! :D
