ED, are you sure you're not bringing all this snow down yourself because you accidentally left a knife on the shed roof??Yesterday morning (Christmas morning) when I posted here, we had about five inches of snow that had fallen over Christmas Eve Night and I didn't figure it was worth mentioning. Well, throughout Christmas Day an additional seven inches of snow fell and another six or so inches fell overnight last night. Now I've gotta go out and shovel it and plow it. Oh joy !!! To put me in a better frame of mind, I'll be carrying this Case CV Sowbelly. It has absolutely no use when it comes to snow removal but I like it so I'm toting it. Gonna eat some eggs and sausage before I shovel/plow. Hope everyone has a great day. Oh, I'll pay $25.00 an hour to any of you who want to come and shovel for me.

That's a handsome couple, Steve!
Sounds like a good day, Bruce, and looks like a grand knife!72 degree and mild NW winds, dropped the boat in the water and took my visiting family for a cruise down the ICW to New River and back. Did use the knife, youngest daughter found some tags in her new sweatpants and wanted them removed - Porch Member to the rescue! Took my standard boating pocketknife. OH

Thanks Gary. That licensed Michigan pike is a sight for sure, very nice.Congrats on the splendid handmade birdhouse from your dad!
Reminds me a little of a license plate project I see in the cabin we rent on Lake Huron for a week or two each August. I don't know who made it, but it's very cool, since many of the other renters do a lot of fishing for northern pike.

It's been snowing every day since Christmas Eve almost all day every day. The trip to town yesterday was a bit arduous what with the snow on the roads. They had been plowed a couple of times but at the rate the snow is/was falling, it is hard for the road crews to keep up. Oh well, Navy Bean soup for dinner last night with spaghetti coming tonight.
Wish I had my old tractor but alas, I sold it a couple/three years ago. Boy oh boy!!!! Don't I wish the place looked like this today.
