A very Happy Birthday to your oldest sir! And Happy New Year to you and yours!

Today I’m totin’ around my “S” and Merle to help ring in the New Year, what better knives than my KOTY! I can assure everyone that no coffee dunkin’ was involved in the making of this photograph 😆

Happy birthday to your eldest. Great times. :)

I’m really loving the BF Spring Street Barlow now that I can use it. Beautiful examples from all!
Thanks gentlemen, it’s been a good day. These BF barrows are certainly one of my all time favorite knives, recency bias aside.

Worked some more on my knife data base . My kids promised to help do it , but that did not work out , and I have a hard time staying concentrated on it . I am just putting in all of the knives that have a decent value so far . I have only been working on it for about 2 years off and on . Mostly Off I guess .
Pardon the dark photos of what I am carrying today . It just happens to be my KOTY . Northfield 83 Dark Brewed .

No thought in what knife to carry to close out 2021 but by happenstance this Rendezvous Eureka has been a favorite. It cut prime rib that my wife made and although the prime rib stands on it's own it's just extra enjoyable using a nice and sharp knife to cut it up ;)

Wishing all here a very Happy New Year, your all good people

Outstanding picks for your New Year's celebration; I'm always amazed at how cool the horn covers are on your 2017 beauty. Happy New Year!!!

Many thanks JJ, I used to carry that knife a great deal, and really should do more :) Happy New Year my friend :)

Toting an ebony covered French jack. Happy New Year to all! :)

That's a very classy and handsome knife JJ

Thanks, Jack! Neither of my grandfathers carried a knife like the Boker, but it still has a solid, comforting "Grandpa Knife" feel to it. And the Bagpipe Big-un might be making the rest of my Lambsfoots jealous, but I can't seem to bring myself to switch it out for another.

The older I get, the more it feels like I'm living in a science fiction story.

Mom has decided to postpone her visit, due to the elevated transmission rate of the Omicron variant, so we'll just have to Zoom more, until she can fly down next Spring. (what would that sentence have sounded like to someone in the '50s, when my Boker was new?)

I know what you mean about your Boker Rachel :) I can also relate to what you say about your Big 'Un, sometimes a knife can just grab you :)

Yes, true! :D Sorry your mom won't be able to visit, this past couple of years sure has spawned a lot of new vocabulary  ;)

Very industrious Harry 👍 I have thought of doing something similar ever since Peregrin Peregrin started on one a few years back, but just thinking about it brings me out in a sweat! 😳😁 Good luck 👍
