What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hope it goes by fat for ya. 🤠

I'm always afraid I'll do something stupid and get caught pulling it out of my pocket or something.

No you're not. 🙃

Welcome to the math teaching club. 🤠:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks! I have to treat my Math mistakes like my spelling mistakes in literature and mispronounced words in speech—when a student notices you praise them for finding the Easter egg you left for them ☺️

Just got back from taking some mail to the P.O. and was listening to Willie's Roadhouse which was playing a Tom T. Hall song . Do you folks remember Old Dogs and Children and Watermelon Wine ? One of my all time favorites . It reminded me of the many old dogs that we have had , our children , and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and my 2 favorite GEC knives . It just so happens that I had them , and still do , in my pockets . My first GEC and my first 73 . Pictured below on another 2022 Calendar photo of Grandfather Mountain , N.C.

Willie’s Roadhouse is one of my favorite stations. Such great music! Your knives are just as good!

I carried my forum knife today along with the Boker while I was out and about.

The little one is a Boker plus, which I think means China, even though it's 440C instead of 440A. Very good fir and finish, though strange proportions with the large shield and tangs.
(Otherwise, Kutmaster, Camillus, Case.)

A lot of the Boker Plus knives are 440C Jer. I've been very pleased with the ones I've had (mainly FBs), apart from a Barlow, which had poor fit and finish

Qualifies for what a now sadly defunct manufacturer used to call Our Very Best

Certainly one of GEC's finest efforts: all steel. Rat-Tail, Ivory Bone, resurrected pattern, right shield. Lyle wlfryjr wlfryjr organized a deeply impressive SFO for which I'll be eternally grateful. I use the Jigged Bone version and worship the Ivory Bone at home :)

Thanks, Will
