What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The very reason I leave pocketknives in my vehicles; took off for Jacksonville and realized I had forgotten my pocketknife - this console knife to the rescue. Case 63087 MED Stockman. Need to go put it back in the car now that I'm home. OH

Beauty! And this could be a source of a thread in its own right Car Carry :)

I always stow a knife in the car's console as you never know - particularly if you've rushed out of the house without a knife  that and other things happen.... But it can come in handy for travelling snacks, getting air out of the tyres at the filling station (no not slashing them:D) Lot of stones in the tyre tread in our long winters etc etc.

Just fetched in this CASE stainless Medium Stockman for cleaning (sticky tape on blades after opening packets in the car) and as the daylight goes by 15.00 here the picture is crap. It's a good car knife though: compact, all stainless and the blades VERY sharp, One For the Road.

Beauty reclines.

This should be the role model for GEC's next Acrylic  Well, the pattern is none too ugly either....

Gev, let your year be one of light and thanks for showing your wonderful old knives (couple of youngsters too) so aesthetically.

Regards, Will
And may you, my friend, ascend the pillar of equilibrium on the Tree of Life and reside in the crown for eternity.

Thanks guys. It isn't ideal, but it helps pay the bills and the students are enjoyable. I don't usually teach Pre-Algebra, so that's been a bit of a curveball--I think one that I don't mind?

I used to have sections each semester of "Concepts in Mathematics," which was a math survey course intended for nursing majors. I feel your pain!

What do you normally teach?

Nice. I think the 43 Oregon Trapper may be my GEC fave -- love the general proportions and blade shape.
Thank you! I’m very fortunate to have it. Thanks, Chief Chief !

Speaking of great GECs...
As usual, I'll post my carries for this week in groups of 3 or 4, over 4 different days chosen from 1/3 thru 1/9. Also as usual, my first group will contain an Alox SAK, a non-Alox SAK, a bailed/shackled non-SAK, and a non-SAK international knife.

These will not provide any excuses for dodging any miscellaneous chores!
An Eland accompanies while I explore an uninhabitable, abandoned three bedroom property I acquired at property tax auction for $500.
Soon to be bulldozed away, as it is a health hazard filled with vermin and nocuous mold.
Built in 1940, many of all stripes have come and gone but none will EVER live here again.
Clearing the lot allows me to expand my homestead, garden and sanctuary. Amen

Great for you, Jim! Bigger gardens are good.
Being an amateur guitar builder, I’m swooning over the idea of finding some great old timbers in the framing of that house!

Close call, Bruce! If you dash out without your pants, don’t admit it here.
Nice couple of knives.
