What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Over knifed with this Winkler Belt Knife, but on point for wooden Wednesday.

Bacon butty at lunch time.
While watching classic 70s Sweeny (Sweeny Todd=Flying squad).
The way those stunt men through those wallowing Granadas around

My knife gets smoother and smother,it’s a joy yo use.

Johnny, regarding your betrayal of Englishers and proper tea drinkers everywhere, instant tea granules seems like an invention in search of a reason.
Unless you save time by using dehydrated water.
Nice work Jeff, I could do with a bigger version to straighten my walking sticks :D Nice pair of knives too :)
I try to avoid perfectly straight walking sticks. They make my legs look crooked.
Thanks, my friend.

Such a simple choice today…

A great one to All:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Simple but effective. I originally passed on that one when they were released and had to resort to the secondary market for one. I'm glad I did, it has become one of my favorites.
Wow! I fell about five pages behind here, so had some catching up to do. Instead of keeping up yesterday, I fired up the propane heater, and made something in my garage/woodshop.
One of the fun parts of building a guitar is making your own jigs, tools, and templates.
If I were to buy them, I couldn’t afford this hobby.
Fret wire comes in a tube like this:View attachment 1715155It has to be bent to match the fingerboard radius, so I made this fret bender out of closet door wheels. The top wheel is mounted in a slot so I can adjust the radius.View attachment 1715156
And today, which is Woodnesday, I’ve got this Taylor’s Eye Witness Lambfoot along with this unusual Ulster Electrician. The butt end is fat and rounded, which makes for a comfy grip as a screwdriver.View attachment 1715157
I can only wish I had the skills you did, Jeff. I play, but the guitars I play only have 4 strings ;). Both of your carries today are well loved .

Carrying what has become my standard Wednesday fare.

Great for you, Jim! Bigger gardens are good.
Being an amateur guitar builder, I’m swooning over the idea of finding some great old timbers in the framing of that house!
Thanks Jeff !!! ... Sadly, termites have beaten us to the timbers LOL ... even those of the foundation.
I have given thought to allowing "Habitat for Humanity" an opportunity to remove anything they might find useful before demolition,
don't think there's much there at this point, but still may let them be the judge of that.

... Word
Exact reproduction of New York Knife Company Scout, issued up until 1931 ... down to even the tang stamp
This brand new, unused, never carried (yet) or sharpened #00017 Diamond Jubilee (75th) Scout knife, issued in 1985 arrived with original packaging and paper work
It's a real beauty ... Be Prepared

EDIT: If looking very closely at the first pic and think you may see red rust on the spring, it's just packaging residue (see second pic), when I removed the knife for the first pic.
This almost 40yr old, low serial number knife is in absolute pristine condition ... amazing
... and I couldn't have even found a used one for anywhere near what I paid for this one. Very lucky and blessed I am. Was just meant to be I guess.

I took my 77 into my workshop this afty to fit a 6” handle to my largest file my friend gave me.
The blowtorch is much easier heating up the tang than using my stove.
The awl on these is one of the most useful of tools, mine I cleaned and sharpened on a DC4.
