America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.
Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!
Seeing yours made me want to carry my Schrade Russell Commemorative Barlow and the Schrade Barlow . I agree with you on all of your points . Some day I will have to post a photo of all of my Russell Barlows and the Commemoratives that I have . Thank you for your kind comment on my Old Russell .That Old Original Russell that I showed was bought in 2014 for $ 5.00 , down from $ 9.00 that he wanted . I drove back 65 miles a week later to buy it after I found out what it was . Below is what I have in my pockets today and if you look real close you can see the same Dimples in the Covers . I carry them almost never because they are 47 years old .Yes sir ... think the Schrade pattern was 206 ... which was a beauty in its own right
I do recall it said that Schrade used original Russell tooling for the tang and bolster stamps on the commemorative
That original Russell of yours is a treasure !!!

I like it a lot, less maintenance. I still love to watch a blade patina but I don’t miss it as much as I thought.Beautiful.
How's the fancy steel performing for you?
Very nice John.
Thanks Gus. I’m very fortunate for sure.Todd…. Wunderful pic and I don’t knowwhy…. I’ve started to associate THIS IRJ as your exclusive blade

Gorgeous knife Gus, and a really cool picture. Hope Spring finds you soon my friend.Today’s number is a favourite of mine, when you could actually buy a knife for a fair price, and really such a short time ago.
Shur-Wood handles were introduced in the late 50’s and adorn this hump-back jack….
