A great Thursday to All :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Three to four inches of snow overnight and still coming down but it's a very wet snow and not sticking to the warm roads and sidewalks from the sun yesterday. I'll be totin this simple, black delrin, Bull Nose to ward off the snow flakes and snow bunnies still coming down.

730 miles yesterday from my son’s to my brother’s house. 300 from here to home, sweet home. Slept long, late and deep, bowl of oatmeal, fresh coffee in my mug, and off we go.70591F13-E8B7-4CE5-B9C7-A5FBD6375FC8.jpeg157D4CF0-BDAA-4205-8E8A-77B167F0F590.jpegLF posed on my brother’s lovely ‘50s Loyd Loar Gibson mandolin.
Combined with my ‘55 J45, we have had many hours of bluegrass picking. Alas, not this time. But we had a nice chat before bed talking about family, spring turkey hunting, and the war in eastern Europe. He’s a pastor in a little country church, and is really smart and well informed, and is always interesting to talk with.

I did! I found some good ones.
But the owner knew what he had and they were priced accordingly.
I was tempted by a mint Black Box Winchester Sowbelly, but I'm not a big fan of the frame.
He also had an almost mint old Bone Schrade Jack knife, but the price was more than I wanted to pay for it.
There were others that had me looking, but in the end i didn't buy any of them... banking the money for something I really want.

Wonderful picture, Jim. 🤠
Sometimes it seems like they don’t really want to sell them. Sounds like a good time, anyway.
