What about wet sand?If you're thinking about dropping your oiled-up slippy in dry sand, I can't recommend it.
... and going through the bonding phase with this new arrival
A colorful and playful traditional knife just in time for summer festivities

Great pair of reds and nicely photographed. Keeping my fingers crossed that you have not enabled me with that Eureka Jack.
HA !!! Thank you sirI wouldn't have thought I would like a knife with those modern art type vibrant covers, but, I kinda do Brother Jim.
No, I definitely do ......................err,
what I meant to say is that it is unique and very cool !![]()
P.S. - I would be very very surprised if you ever lose that knife. If you do, it's going to be in deep water or if on land, I'd say a gopher stole it.
Ha ha, thank you very much!Great pair of reds and nicely photographed. Keeping my fingers crossed that you have not enabled me with that Eureka Jack.I have been resisting temptation.

Joe, your Black Pine Cone Coutellerie du Barry is a STUNNING piece and excellent self birthday present. Enjoy !!!B BrotherJim The one I just got from Coutellerie du Barry is also not supposed to be on a par with Fontenille-Pataud either, but at a fraction of the cost it will find its way into my pocket and still be enough quality to proudly show off. I'm extremely satisfied with mine and hope to get another asap. I've had many customs and they rarely got used which I'm afraid will happen with Fontenille-Pataud's knives. That doesn't mean I wont try and afford one, especially their Capuchadou. Right now I'm enjoying the opportunity to pick and choose without having to fight the crowds or pay inflated prices which is what seems to be happening with American traditionals.
Thank you, Todd.Outstanding John.
Oh ya... I like those!
Looks great Jeff, glade you got your sowbelly! Now and for the near future (at least) . . . the Northfield #888222 in swamp green jigged bone.
