Well ... "Big Foot" and his kin, Sasquatch (his sister?) and Abominable (brother? cousin? nephew?) are the reigning hide n seek world champions.(Kinda like the real Bigfoot, you can’t see it)
At first glance the blade etch looked like Mr. Spock and Scotty's USS ENTERPRISE (NCC 1701).
Thank you very much, Gary!Magnificent pair, Rachel; congrats on the new-to-you Lubotco!
That’s perfect Jon.
Look tasty, do you use any special beer for the brats?
Today I am carrying a Case Cheetah swing guard, pretty cool pattern. View attachment 1869210
Rob if you wouldn't mind, could you ask your neighbor if he will take $500 for all of them.My neighbor collects that pattern. I think he has about every color. I am guessing he has 50 plus Cheetahs. Pretty impressive to see his whole collection as a group !
I like the color you posted.![]()

Excuse me Gary but will this be available next week on the Exchange?
I was only joking. Hope you're doing well my friend.Nope

Thanks for the kind remarks GARY . I first had Andechs and Paulaner Salvator in 2017 while in Germany . I do not drink much beer , but when I do , I like to drink a Double Bock . The Andechs is brewed at a functioning Monastery in Andechs , Germany and is available in the U.S.A. , but is very hard to find . The Paulaner is readily available around here . I have a Top 5 Beers For My Taste and they both are on it .Here are some posts I fondly recall from last week. It's all so subjective!
Admirable Sodbuster, Harry!
I've never had Andechs, but Paulaner Salvator is one of the best beers I've ever had! I had it in Europe, and it looks like I'd have to travel over 100 miles to find a store/bar that might have it.
I'm a big fan of the canoe pattern, so I can't help but compliment you on your compelling ebony Case canoe!
That stag EO 25 is bodacious, Bart! The Independence Day bike parade looks fun; we have one, begun in 1934, that starts just a few blocks from our house, but I haven't gone to it for several years now. When our daughter was young, she expected to go every 4th of July and come home with a big bag of candy that the minions of local politicians in the parade would toss to the adoring crowds.

Dandy patriotic trio of knives! I know what you mean about "hunkering down with the pup". My wife actually has sedatives prescribed by the vet for our dog to take in the week leading up the The Fourth, but she still couldn't get him to poop/pee before bed that night, and I had to carry him outside the next morning because he was too nervous about potential explosions.
Excellent 2-dog knife photo! Exemplary whittler!
First class Fourth photo, Alan; your all-metal Laguiole is fascinating!
Grand pair of Bulldog Barlows, José!
Handsome S&M canoe, Jim!
Iconic bone on your Camillus pair, Steve!
Thanks, John. I've seen some knock-your-socks-off chestnut Peanuts posted here, and couldn't resist getting one for my very own.
The only way I've been able to avoid that is to give up golfing. Very effective "fix", but kind of extreme.
Always a joy to see your cork-handled Ciol, José! I've got my eye on a Mora model with cork handle.
Kudos for having friends in high places who can help you out like that, Jeff!
Touching tribute to your mother, Robb.
Her kitchen knife reminds me of a couple that my mother-in-law had, at least through her entire marriage. She came from "humble beginnings" in northern Kentucky, and gradually drifted northward, first to southern Indian, and eventually to Indianapolis.
Your ebony WCLF is a laudable, lissome looker, John!
Gotta be some kind of ninja turtle, Mike!
Magnificent pair, Rachel; congrats on the new-to-you Lubotco!
Another noteworthy canoe! What does Case call that bone color?
Ooh La La, JJ; Vive la France!!
Looks like you could ravish some rabbits with that trio, Leon!
I relate to what you write here, but one thing that I really appreciate about The Porch is acceptance of anyone who's enthusiastic about traditional pocket knives, no matter what form that enthusiasm takes or what "quality" knives are involved. I've usually felt as welcome here with my rather low budget approach as are those who are interested in high-end customs, or whatever.
Splendid knife! I also have an S&M #99 (thanks, Jack), albeit with a different shield, at least:

True fact, Steve. And usually in the occasional threads about "if you could only keep one", I end up concluding that I'd probably take a "first in, last out" approach and be happy with my original scout knife if I had to go back to only one knife.
That's my attitude, too, Mike. I waited 7 or 8 months for some warm weather to return, and I think I'd prefer 90˚F temps over anything under 50˚ for sure!
What's the old saying? "Gardening makes strange bedfellows!"
Wow, that's a winning sowbelly stockman (another of my favorite patterns)!
