Thanks for the Hint Barrett !!!! I have always used the "Linked BBCode " and rarely has it not worked , but I will try the " BBCode " .
Edited to add : It looks like going to the " BBCode " has worked .

I was going to carry my GEC Bayou Trapper Ace that I pictured yesterday but since my Case SS Sowbelly did such a great job cutting the head off the snake yesterday evening, I'll be carrying it through the weekend or at least today. I'm going to mow the grass after lunch so, I'll be looking out for the slithering critters.

There may be different ways to post pictures hosted by Imgur but for those who are having problems, these simple steps have worked for me ...

- When you upload an image to Imgur WAIT until you see a pop-up that says Upload Complete
If you copy an image link from Imgur before the upload is complete, that link may not be in the proper format for posting on BF

"Upload Complete" box at top of screen capture below ...

- Once Upload Complete, then and ONLY then ... right click anywhere on the image just uploaded and then click on "Copy Image Link" ...

- Now moving to the Post reply box on BF, chose the "Insert Image" icon from the toolbar of the Post reply box
- Once you click on Insert Image, a tabbed pop-up will appear
- Choose the second tab that says "By URL" and paste the image link copied from Imgur ... then click on "Insert"
- The image should appear in the reply box

... Then click on "Post reply" and Wha-La ...

Instead of clicking on Copy Image Link just click Copy Image. Then put your cursor where you want the image to be and use Paste to insert the image.

Ok, that's a little less "Chuck Norris" than I was envisioning, but it's still a lot closer than I'd want to get. I think my minimum distance is hoe/shovel length.
