Well that is a new one on me. Never heard of a gutter bolster ! I learned one new thing already today !

I like the blade stamp and umbrella. I wish modern makers would use stamps instead of etches.
Blade etches tend to make knife owners not use a knife for fear of losing the etch, where stamps don't do that.

"Gutter bolsters" are one thing, but "apple atrocity duties" just takes it to a whole new level.

Schrade 804 Whittler cuz Whittler Wednesday, and Schrade Walden 294 Serpentine Jack ~ in Durable Dupont Delrin. I included the Primble Belknap Hardware version of 294 in honor of @Primble’s knife from yesterday.
When I carry that peachseed bone, I use @JohnDF’s slip because I’d hate to bump into somthing and crack that bone.
I have some chainsaw work to do, so it’s a good day for delrin.

Speaking of gutters, may our French blade brothers soon have use for an umbrella that isn't stamped on a knife! And not as a parasol.
I think it's been pretty hot there.

I’ve never owned a knife that acquired a patina faster than this brass Yatagan. The brass and the XC75 carbon steel are quick change artists.

It's a stay at home day and it's hot. I'll wait until the sun moves a bit higher in the sky and allows some shade to fall out near the pole barn and then trim some lower limbs on a small pine tree. Too small for a chainsaw so, a bow saw will do. Some light trimming is always required so, this Schrade Fire & Ice Dark Pick Bone Trapper should come in handy. Sausage and pancakes for breakfast.

Almost fogot to post my carry for the day, Cougar Clawed Bone Stallion on a gorgeous ND evening. The heat and humidity blew out and it's a pleasant change.

Beautiful knife Paul, and that cloud photo is spectacular. We are supposed to get that blast of dryer air this afternoon or evening. Looking forward to it for sure.
