What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you Mr P!

Thank you J-M. It is a fantastic knife wonderfully made. Thanks one more time my friend.

Great story well told. Thanks for the smiles.

I’m glad you posted this one! Harry gave me one, and it’s nice to see what it looked like when it was new.
Lovin all that Schrade goodness!
Thanks much! 😊

Yikes! Don’t see those getting toted very often. Beautiful.👌
Fascinating to read some of your family background, Jeff; thanks!:cool::thumbsup: Did your ancestors have an influence on your musical interests, too?
(By the way, you recently posted a pic including an old German "Lion Knife" with a notch in the blade edge. I meant to ask you, but forgot until now: did that knife ever belong to Harry @Old Engineer ? It looks familiar to me, but for some reason I hadn't associated it with you.)

Thanks, Gary. And you have a sharp memory. I’ll bet you’re a champ at parlor games.
Yes, it’s the same knife, beauty mark and all.

A nice gift from Harry when we met up at the Badger Knife Show.

I’ve said it before, but your collection of small fixed blades is great to see.
Thanks Bart! I'm carrying another one today. This Italian made Giant Mouse caught my eye and it's a pretty nice carry on the belt, or in the pocket. The M390 seems to be a good steel for this knife and the ergonomics is better than you might expect. The sheath is really excellent.
My traditional pair includes the Boker Club Gent's Knife, another winner in my estimation.

That Giant Mouse looks nice. Is it worth the price?

Is it time to break out the dialect quiz again? 😉😁

I think this was the only time in my life I’ve ever handled a beet. 🤣

The beets need eaten.🤪
Here. This is for you:

🤓
The dogs were for sure! I have a partner in the cattle business. He took care of everything while I was gone. The cattle didn’t seem to care 😁

Thanks, Todd. I’m really enjoying it.

That’s going to be awesome! Have fun.

Thanks, John.

🤣 Yeah. I don’t blame him for wanting to go. We just didn’t have time.
Cattle just show it in their own way, Bart!

I got a freebie Case SS Commemorative Tony Bose Tribal Lock knife yesterday and was hesitant about whether to carry it or not and then thought what the heck I'd bet Mr. Bose would want it to be used so carry it I will today. We're staying home today resting up for a trip over to Lakeview, Oregon for a doctors appointment for Cindy tomorrow. Corned Beef Hash and 2-eggs up for breakfast. Hot sauce on the hash of course.

Don't think I've ever noticed a Boker shield quite like that one. Beautiful knife Will !!! 😲
Appreciate that Jim  Böker has used the Federal shield which has the trademark Chestnut Tree, at times. The Appaloosa Whittler I own has it too, nice change.

Thanks, Will

2Dead 2Dead ... I really wanted to like your post for the CASE Tribal, the Benchmade not so much. You see, thumbstuds (and pocket clips) aren't allowed here in the Traditional sub-forum.
See the sticky at the top of the Traditional sub-forum. I was going to message you but that isn't possible with your profile. So, just a heads up if a mod happens along and deletes your post and you wonder why.
But, you could edit it to remove the Bugout. Just a thought :)
I'll chalk it up to lazy cross posting... ;)
