What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you sir. A month long cough is unfortunate 😣. I’m on day 5 and I’m feeling much better. It’s been 4 days without a fever so I think I’m mostly in the clear. Just gna spend a few more days resting, staying hydrated, and taking my vitamins then I’ll test myself again and hopefully it’ll come out negative. I still don’t have all my energy there quite yet not my normal enthusiasm to play with my Knives so once that aspect returns I know I’ll be close to 100%
Glad you are on the mend. I am not a good healing person. The minute I start to feeling better I get back at it. That bit me in the backside. Rest is the best

How do I follow Disneyland, John?! ;)

Hi friends! Been a few weeks! I was in Mexico for vacation and I had this Pioneer SAK on me the whole time. My trip got cut short because I contracted ā€œthe vidā€ and I’m back home recovering. Logging back onto Bladeforums and seeing Charlie’s 2022 Bladeforums thread and his proposed knife sure made me a whole lot happier when I needed it though! Hope everyone is doing well and as soon as I’m feeling a bit better I’m looking forward to spending a lot more time here on the porch and Bladeforums again 😃

Pete, nice to see you

I think this was the only time in my life I’ve ever handled a beet.
Condolences. ā˜¹ļø I hope you remembered to wash your hands well after handling, so it wouldn't contaminate later eats with nasty, vile, disgusting "beet flavor".
Scout Knife of the Week is a Rough Rider
On the pile side, is your bail securely attached?
My Amber Bone RR Scout/Camp wasn't properly peened, allowing the bail to come off the pin. I lack the tools to fix it, so it spends its time on the display shelf, rather than in my pocket or clipped to a belt loop. ā˜¹ļø

Thanks Bart! I'm carrying another one today. This Italian made Giant Mouse caught my eye and it's a pretty nice carry on the belt, or in the pocket. The M390 seems to be a good steel for this knife and the ergonomics is better than you might expect. The sheath is really excellent.
My traditional pair includes the Boker Club Gent's Knife, another winner in my estimation.

Looks good, Gary. My hope is to get a Krein TK-1 at some point as a regular pocket carry. Maybe this year, we’ll see. So, do you prefer a straight edge or a spear on the small fixed blades?
Cattle just show it in their own way, Bart!
Exactly! I don’t think they could tell I was gone, but I could tell I was gone.

Glad to hear it sound like you’re on the mend. šŸ‘

Oh man! It woulda made a great excuse to get out of work, but you got hosed out of some vacation time!

When I had it, it only really slammed me for about three days, but for the next two weeks, I was hitting the sack at 7:30 or 8:00. Rest up and get well!

I have been carrying these 2 and wearing this old 2004 Jackaru hat to work outside most of the week and again today .

Me too, Harry. Looks like you did some heavy duty sweating.
