What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I had my E bike stolen outside the doctors today
That's just terrible, I'm very sorry. There are some miserable people out there. :(

You have a genius on your hands. 🤠:thumbsup::thumbsup:
That's a great haul... hope they're good eatin'. 🤠

They can get better, but they never get "right" again. And once damaged they sure seem susceptible to future not so goodness. Back in the nineties I ended up getting two cortisone shots in my lumbar spine and never had to go back, so I consider myself extremely fortunate. That said, its never been quite right again. A few years ago I got whiplashed and I'm up to 3 cortisone shots in my cervical spine. The Doc said one disc in my cervical was, quote, "Just a mess". He was surprised the shots worked as well as they have. As long as I can keep things manageable without surgery, I feel lucky :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Sorry for the hijack.
Still totin' the 18. Back from pool shooting 🎱 Getting ready for poker playing

That's a better way of putting it Mike  I have had cortisone shots in my elbows and feet, but not in my back. I hope you can avoid surgery. A friend of mine had it though, and it turned out really well for him. Thank you for your concern anyway
Might want to check if anyone in the area has a camera that might have recorded the nefarious ne'er do well. Sorry man, that really stinks.

It was under CCTV cameras police have to check as I cant.

Hopefully they have something that will help them catch the thief. Good luck.
There has been a spate of bike thefts in my area over the past couple of years, (both mechanical and electric), from gardens and garages. They have been carried out by the same individual, and the police have seen plenty of photographic evidence. Last week, my immediate neighbours, who are new, had 4 bikes stolen, which were chained up at the side of their house. The thief, spent about an hour, during the middle of the night, cutting the locks off, and selecting the bikes he wanted. This was all recorded on CCTV, and it's the same individual involved, who is well known to the police already. Sadly, they have shown little interest, despite around 20 bikes being stolen so far, as well as some tools. It isn't someone who lives in the area, he just comes here, at night, to steal, and isn't seen here during the day. I imagine it will only be a matter of time before someone takes the law into their own hands, and then they will be the one arrested. I hope things are better where you live Johnnythefox Johnnythefox
Thank you very much, Jack!!! :)

Two wonderful cutters taking in the lovely scenery; an excellent Friday pairing, Jack!:D:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thank you for the kind words my friend :)

Thanks for the words, its really got to me I cant understand the mentality of a thief.

If it was someone hungry for food maybe but not these people.

Continuing with knives from my May buying spree that I've been toting this week, I have another Rough Ryder and an Italian Job.
Rough Ryder T10 tool steel bow trapper with micarta handle:

In May, I also ordered a CEM Cutlery agricultural knife because I was so happy with one I had ordered previously. Unfortunately, the vendor sent me a pruner from the same maker instead of the big sheepsfoot I wanted, and when I sent it back for replacement, they sent me a pruner again (and I strongly suspect it was the very same knife I returned  ). They then had me return it one more time and gave me a refund, since the warehouse apparently had the two patterns "all mixed together" ?? Anyway, in memory of what I hoped for, I'm carrying the original CEM agricultural folder that I got a couple of years ago:

I think these people are different to the rest of us. The character stealing bikes in my neighbourhood is a junkie, but some people will steal anything that isn't nailed down irrespective of circumstances. I hope you get your bike back 👍

About 15 years ago, a guy I knew called round to see me briefly (I forget the reason now). He had just spent a lot of money on some new, fancy Japanese motorbike. Someone must have been following him, because the bike was stolen in 2 or 3 minutes. It was a red hot day, and the guy had to walk about a mile and a half home in full leathers, carrying his helmet. After he got home, he decided to go out looking for his bike, in his car. Sure enough, he spotted 2 men riding it around, and chased them. They led him to an ambush, where he was attacked by a load of people, badly beaten up, and had his car hijacked too. He was a tough guy, and a serious martial artist, but it made no difference. After that night, things changed for him, and he had a breakdown, and even ended up taking drugs, as well as drinking heavily. I think he eventually recovered a bit, but he left the country, and now lives overseas. The last time I saw him, he looked like he was drinking heavily again, and looked 10 years older than he is. He has a very skilled and well-paid job, which he's somehow managed to hang onto, otherwise I think he'd be sleeping on the streets now, or worse, poor guy 😕

What is your preference for cooking these bad boys up Crappie71??

As kids we caught lots of bluegill. Grand dad used to fillet and fry in corn meal. I still remember those dinners well. Delicious
Fried can‘t be beat! I filet them, roll them in corn meal and salt and pepper, and fry them in vegetable oil. I’ve grilled them and even made crappie cakes, but I always seem to go back to frying them. 😋

Hot day for us today and looked up some older photos for when it was not so hot .

Nice post Mr. Harry !
Love the JATO trike and the spending time with your great granddaughter. Does the blower really work with that setup ?
Cannot go wrong with a Catt and a Russell Barlow in your pocket ! 😍 😍 😍 Like having history books in your pocket.
Won't be that long before the cold comes back and we might be wishing for spring.

Great pics of that handsome pair Mr P

Hopefully, in these Covid-complicated times, you won't be asked to 'Turn to your left, and rubs noses with the person next to you'!  :D

Thank you Mr. Jack ! 😊
............................................. you forgot to add Monkeypox. 🤣

I once had a badly strained lower back and a friend rubbed horse liniment on it and it went away for good. Like really fast went away. Can't say what the side effects were, but, I can blame anything on that magic cure now.

Cheers folks, have a great weekend
