It rained overnight and is still raining this morning. No plans today - just kicking back and maybe'll putter around the shop. This SS Sod Buster Jr. will make a good companion on this rainy, damp, day. Sausage and 2-eggs up with cinnamon raisin toast for breakfast.

To be frank, I crave a lot of things. Either I don’t really need it, or can’t afford it!
Spell check/auto fill, or twitchy fingers strikes again. 😁 Sometimes it just fits.

Congrats on your hard work. Not easy to pull that off with a full time job and supporting a family. I did not know that they had college degrees majoring in baseball memorabilia!

Nice MAM! I'm not as impressed with my MAM knives as I am with my Opinels, but the MAMs are still very likable knives IMHO.

Interesting info. I was thinking about old dairy farm issues while I was taking a walk yesterday, and came up with lots of common situations for which I no longer remember the details. o_O

I've always wanted to try one of the CK "modern traditionals." I had lots of small questions about them that can only be answered by holding one, like what sort of character the micarta would have, how the crowned spine and backspring would fit the vibe of the pattern, and how the modern approach to this pattern would feel. As you can see from the pic below, the micarta has lots of character, and the details, from the crowned elements to the curved-up backspring to the fit and finish, are just superb. I'm really digging this knife. :)
