After hitting 100 degrees 67 times this year, the cold front has come in. It's raining, and the temperature has dropped down to the mid 70s!
In central Texas, this is known as "False Fall", soon to be followed by "Second Summer" eventually we will have "Actual Autumn" 'round about October.

Just in time to celebrate the end of "Hell's Front Porch" my Johnny On The Spot arrived. How many times have we stated, "Just this knife is all I would ever need to carry...well, along with a Pony Jack...or sometimes a Lambsfoot..." At any rate, Fall always makes me feel nostalgic, and this fancy camper style reminds me of childhood knives.

Beautiful mini trapper Jim !!!!! I wonder how many of us has actually used a Tube Repair Kit . Back in the early 50's we used our's to repair our bicycle tubes and old thrown away car tire tubes to use in farm ponds around us .

Quite possibly the BEST bone handle GEC ever made..... Jigging and color are perfect. I wish they made more like this. Thanks, Will. It’s a great one, for sure! Truth be told, though, I am the one who de-minted it…
I decided I liked it too much, and had spent too much time looking for one, to not enjoy regularly. I hope I am not judged too harshly…
Here is a pic of it when I got it
