What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks my friend, I had some friends visiting Paris, and they wanted to bring me back a knife. Jolipapa was very helpful in terms of recommendations, and the Violon was assembled from old stock from Issard. I've been very pleased with it, and should find room in my pocket for it more often

I had a lovely ride today when I went to visit my father.

Stopped for coffee and a little bit of Scotland in England with Tunnocks tea cakes on the way back.

Then stopped in Wantage home to Alfred the great,dog drinks,very old,crumbling ancient bits of timber holding up houses and much more to see.

Cognet makes this particular version still. At one time, they manufactured many different sizes, now there are only two, the one in my post is the smaller size.

Good eye Thanks, I'm on the case but it is in the shed still....some paper and oil are on the way, then a sharpen up! I use it as an outdoors beater, and few better.

I had these two with me today.

I picked a bunch of figs after work too.

Nice pair of knives Bart, and those figs looks good too. I’d never tried one until several years ago when we got a box of dried fruit and nuts from a friend for Christmas. Yummy!
