What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Excellent pair, Greg. 🤠
Thank ya, John.

I'm playing catch up with my viewing and postings, a couple days behind. I've had this osage handled moose in the pocket the past two days. Gonna swap it out later this afternoon
after I finish my honey-do list around the house. Attending an annual backyard friends and family pig roast late this afternoon and would like to carry a fixed blade for some slicing on my plate. I'll have to select a small one as some of these suburban folks can be uncomfortable around "hunting knives" on a mans belt. Maybe I'll just take a folder with a large blade.;)View attachment 1905478

Day #6 with the 35 Camp and Tool Knife——makes good kindling. I have yet to lift a cap or turn a screw with it though——maybe Monday.

Today I’ll be using an Albers in beefwood. Here’s a pic with some dahlias. There is actually a cornbeefwood too. I referred to it as corned beefwood in another thread. I am easily amused. Maybe a corn husk raffir and cornbeefwood run could happen. I love that corn husk raffir.

Never get tired of seeing that SAK Jeff, such character. Great photo. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd! More “character” than my other alox SAK with the plain Jane silver.
Thank ya, John.

Don’t cave in, Greg. There’s always going to be something that gives them the vapors.

I think that nice Moose would serve well for bbq, though.
Nice solid companion!

Ha. I toss our corn shucks out in the lawn, so I can chop them up with the mower so they end up in the compost. But you’ve got me thinking that corn husk micarta would be really cool!

Very nice 😎 That's a good idea, carrying a chocolate biscuit at all times 😉:D
Fantastic pair Jack. 😎👍

Starting with this one today, gotta see how the patina has developed over the last few days. Hard to photograph, but it looks a little different each day. Have a great Saturday everyone. 😊👍View attachment 1905474

I’m sure you’ve been enjoying your one year old grandson. I have grandchilluns from sixteen to three, and they’re all precious to my wife and me.

I’ve been liking those Tinas you’ve been showing lately, and that other one is a beaut. Is that an Albers?
Thank you Jeff. I am sure we will have a good time. Albers is correct. 😊

This is the piggy bank I made up for my grandson's birthday. The Mason Jar came from my late mother's home. I put some assorted change, broke open a roll of 50 state quarters and dumped it in the jar ...................... then a twenty dollar bill, then a silver dollar, then a Silver Certificate from 1957 and a two dollar bill from 1963 (that I have had since about that time). I reckon that will be good enough now. 😊 Also another Tina 606 I just got through customizing a bit. It has a higher grade of Walnut on the mark side, as can be seen. 😊

Primble Primble love the gift. For my grandson's birthday last month I sent him 5 $1s, 5 $2s, 2 $5s, 2 $10s, and 3 $20s in a new billfold. He had to use them to master counting / math up to 100 before he was allowed to spend them. He quickly reached that goal and just as quick spent them all save one $2 bill. They still make $2 bills but had to go to the main bank for them.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend, I love this knife, honored to make post 230000 in this thread!!!
