Sensational sun-drenched stag, Bart!

Thanks, Gary! I think I’ll carry it again today.
It's amazing stag, and the shield inletting is perfect. 🤠
It’s nice and thin and the pile side is well-matched too. I just got it back out to carry again today.

My weekend was spent canning. Saturday, I cooked up and canned 15 quarts of salsa ~ half mango salsa, and half black bean salsa. Sunday, I made two huge kettles of my version of V8 juice. Roughly 100 pounds of tomatoes, celery, beets, garlic, parsley, watercress, and spinach. I had to buy the celery because mine isn’t big enough yet, and the parsley and watercress because I didn’t grow those. That filled 11 half gallon, and eight quart mason jars. I ran out of time, so I stuck them all in the freezer for now. I use this juice when I make beef vegetable soup and chili during the wintet.

I carry this beauty every day to use on everything and to spare those beautiful GECs. But a funny thing about this knife. At some point in time I decide to donate it to Andrew Forsythe for his "Going to the Dogs" sale. So I send the knife to Andrew to sell in support of his annual charity sale here on BF. Andrew is a good man with a terrific resume and his auction for the dogs these past 10 years is an effort beyond compare. So Andrew gets the knife, cleans up the blue bone Case and sharpens the blades and lists it on the auction. When I see it listed I am missing this knife a bit a little bit and so I buy it back. In the meantime when Andrew was cleaning it up he decides he likes the blue jig bone and goes out and buys a blue jig bone knife for himself! When I receive it in the mail it is in nearly new condition. I realize Andrew spends a tremendous amount of time and energy doing stuff for the sale I had never thought about doing and he has been at this for 10 years now. Over the years I have come to know Andrew and found he is a very kind and generous and humble man. I always look forward to our email conversations as Andrew freely shares his thoughts and opinions. Andrew loves dogs, as many of us do, but take a huge leap forward helping out these rescue dogs. If anything about BF that is most important to me over the years, is the opportunity to meet and know Andrew along the way. Thank you Andrew and thank you BF...
