It is important to me as a memory of the master from my city who made this knife. It was my friend. In 2015, he made a series of "northern" knives with old Swedish and Norwegian blades. Knives dispersed throughout Russia. In 2017, the master died. And now, when I saw one of them in a flea market. I just had to return this knife to my homeland.
Cute pups Bart, those knives aren’t bad either. These two today, with those two.

The “King of Canoes” strikes again, two winners Gary. This week I'm totin' my 10 favorite canoes; here are two of them.
Rough Rider amber jigged bone canoe, the first canoe I ever held in my hand. It was supposed to get a week in my pocket when it first arrived, but it was over a month before I reluctantly stopped carrying it to give other knives a chance at pocket time.

Chinese Remington canoe with some kind of attractive wood burl covers; inexpensive gun&knife show purchase, but one of my best-looking canoes IMHO:
