Thanks Pete! That is a gorgeous Lamb, Jeremy
When I was a boy, I used my allowance and lawn mowing money for a subscription to Outdoor Life Magazine. Between that, and the Cabela’s and LL Bean catalogs, back when they were full of archery, fly fishing, and canoeing gear instead of over priced outdoor clothing for rich people to wear at Aspen and for mall adventuring.
I spent hours pouring through those and the Boy Scout catalogs, dreaming of outdoor adventures.![]()

Love that 36. I noticed that the swedge continues on above the long pull. GEC normally ends the swedge in front of the long pull like on our 35‘s.Had these tw with me today, #35 and #36

I do. Upright along side my wallet if that's what you mean by loose.Do people really carry knives loose in the back pocket?
Thank you, much appreciated. To be honest I need all the good luck wishes I can get as my success rate has gotten low in recent years.I hope you and all the other hunters on the forums find success before the season ends! Thanks for sharing
Thank you, Jeremy! This is the only Northwoods I have that isn't a user yet and I just might keep it nice like this to continue to carry it on special occasions
Well Bart, it's a government issue mailbox. Stuff falls out of it all the time.![]()

At least it wasn’t a dove from the last time you went hunting. I’ve heard of that happeningI got old Filson upland hunting vest out that I haven't worn in years, and I found this Remington R-1 bird knife in the pocket. I forgot I had it.

Safe travels home. I’ve enjoyed following along.last night in Spain, ferry back to England in the morning.
I handled all of these today.
Bought the most repulsive looking Tapas, just because
Went around Burgos stunning cathedral which is only 800 years old.
Sat in the late evening sun for a last drink,I discovered Radler a very refreshing low alcahol drink.
Only found another knife shop on the way back and accidentally bought another knife I don’t need and it’s carbon as well.
sorry looks like it’s playing up again with photos.

Hope your Monday wasn't TOO mad, but that combination looks like it could handle most things that life could throw at you
For years that was the only way I carried anything larger than a stockman. Problem was holes in the pockets. Now on occasion I still throw one in the hip pocket.Do people really carry knives loose in the back pocket?
Ah…a new member, welcome to the club Bart!Well, I was on the same wavelength as John today and also carried my Bladeforums TC barlow, but I can’t post a picture. I took a picture this morning out in the pasture and since then I misplaced my phone. Hopefully it turns up tomorrow, I think I know where it is. Makes me feel old.![]()
