Hey George...do you have an image of the stamps you can share with us? That's a beauty!:cool:

Queen Cozy Glen mini trapper in 1095 (influenced by hunterfisher posting to pick one up). I really like the color and the blades are slicers!

I don't usually carry bigger knives, but this one at a little over 4 1/4 inches, is growing on me....

Thanks TF. Its hard to find em that match closely on both sides.

I've seen a few pics of your red bones, we have very similar tastes :D

Thanks Grateful .....
I am really happy with the bone on this one. I don't have much self control with red bone and nickle silver liners

Gotta love the 62032 pattern.. Not to big, not to small, just right YMMV..
I've been carrying a 10 dot almost everyday for about 6 months now.
Maybe its just me, but it seems like the Amber bone has become more popular as time goes on.

Amber Bone Rocks. So does the 62032 pattern. Nice picture texasflyfisher. I have that one too. I think I need to pull it out and carry it tomorrow.

Nice looking Pen Elliott..
I've never owned one from that series, is it a single spring ?

Yes it is, Mike. It's a great pattern at 3 7/8" closed like all 47's.. This one was a gift from Charlie. I purchased a 70's version afterward off eBay.

I got interested in the pattern after purchasing a beautiful old vintage Winchester at the Blade Show in 2008.

Here's the two Case models together:

Thanks for the great pics. I can see why you brought home the old Winchester,
shes a keeper.

I may have to give that pattern a try. A while back I picked up an old Schrade pen with a single spring, but it was only 3 1/8 inches, and it just didn't feel right in hand.
I like the size and feel of the 47's, so that may be a great fit.

The Winchester is 4" (versus 3 7/8") closed but a bit sleeker than the Case versions which are boxier.

I've no doubt that you'll like this pattern, Mike. You and I seem to have similar taste and I can tell you this one is a winner for sure. When I found the 70's dots version on eBay last year I was able to get it very reasonably.

That's true, no exposed edges/tang to rip pockets, everything out of sight!

Today Queen Cutlery Dog Leg in CSB. (bit of a trouser ripper that one....)

Thanks y'all! The California clip blade does ride pretty low. We had lunch at the Saltgrass Steakhouse and I use the clip blade on a medium rare steak I had. The big steak knives they supply just rip up the steak rather than slice off thin, juicy pieces. ;)

The entire knife is very pocket friendly with the round bolsters and the somewhat flat sides.

Elliot,

Mighty fine jacks! That ol' Winchester is a real beaut!
