Good photo of a great knife for most any day . There isn't much that it can't handle .When I pick out the knife or in some cases knives for the day, I try to choose based on what I might be doing. That’s why I usually choose a multiblade. I made due with the Lambfoot today.

I hear they they put up quite a fight when you’re trying to get the milking machine on their teats.I am surprised that almond milking throws up so much dust!
Looks like a perfect dayTook this photo after lunch, took a day off from a teacher’s workshop. After 32 years, if I don’t know what I’m doing yet, I never will!View attachment 1952308

Spring is here and a surprise in the garden this morning….

Great knife, great story perhaps you can show us the arrow making as you go along?LT Wright stag small fixed blade. Found a thicket of arrow wood viburnum in the middle of the woods, cut some straight shoots to make arrows.
After the shoots season for about 5 months I'll remove the bark, reduce to proper diameter and straighten with heat. They make good, durable primitive style arrows.

Really like that, a beautiful small knife that suggests real in hand comfort when using it. ImpressiveLT Wright stag small fixed blade. Found a thicket of arrow wood viburnum in the middle of the woods, cut some straight shoots to make arrows.

Good one, Todd, both joke and knife! That spearpoint equal-end Böker is world-class.Still a favorite. Took this picture, but I didn’t think I was going to get to “post it”
Have a great day everyone.View attachment 1950473

It's sort of weird to have a knife again. We just spent 2 weeks in the hospital where @MrsR&T had an emergency c-section and at just under 34 weeks along a 4lb 2.1oz baby boy. He'll have to stay in NICU for several weeks before going home with his adoptive parents. We're visiting regularly and will be a part of his life.

Congrats on the new baby!View attachment 1950955
We are doing better and better each day, thankyou!
Your Moki drop point lockback curved Barlow is superb; what a looker!Moki VG10 ….not sure of the model but I think of it as my ‘gentleman’s‘ folder.
In terms of fit & finish it is easily my best knife….I mostly own vintage slip joints and only a couple of GEC’s and I have to say it beats those quite comfortably.

Thanks, Jack; a Joker you have (had?) inspired me to look for something similar when I was in Spain.Three striking Spaniards Gary![]()

It all happens so fast, when you look back; enjoy them while you can!Thank you, Gary. Yes, the years are rolling along. Two of my five children have grown taller than me and the third will probably eclipse me in a couple of years. One should be driving before the year is out. . .![]()
I remember when the TV broadcasts of NASA manned space flights would have officials intoning, "All systems are go". But as humans age, not all systems are go, that's for sure.My VRA specialists are an odd combination of old and new school. They have email for making appointments, but if you have a question you have to call. I got the call about the retina pictures with dye, and there's no need for treatment. I go back in April for another look with dilation, but without the Clockwork Orange stuff. (Branch vein occlusion, no significant swelling and not in my field of vision.)
Yes, my zytel is a 47. It's all right, but it was more expensive I think it should have been. Even though it was on sale.
I'm sticking with the big Camillus today. I scoured some fuzzy rust off the inside of the backsprings yesterday and rinsed it with vinegar and lemon juice. I keep opening it up to admire the new blue sheen.

Actually, my wife is probably the more outgoing of the two of us, so maybe she rolls her eyes at my feeble attempts in an area where I'm not very gifted.I'm the same way, Gary. My wife is always rolling her eyes as I am meeting and talking to new people everywhere we go.
The surprise for me is that we've never planted them, but they keep showing up. We often neglect the last couple that then get real tall and eventually develop a few little brown pods at the top. Maybe they plant themselves with seed from those pods....
You bet, my friend. It was easy to id because it’s the only green onion I planted this year.Pick them young for the size you get at the store. Left to grow, the white end gets fat. If you want to get meticulous, periodically push soil up around the stems to blanch and get more white end.
My wife does the same…

My adult daughter is still very uncomfortable around swans because of experiences with aggressive swans on our vacations when she was young. Thanks, Gary. Good eye. Yes, they are swans, but I’ve never seen them do anything with the cattle. I imagine when they’re nesting they might be a little aggressive.
Thanks!some nice choices.
That knife looks great in monochrome OR Kodachrome!
