What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Amazingly enough it's just the pattern in the burl. Totally natural.
I missed this one.

It reminds me of Van Gogh's "Starry Night".

Yeah, thanks, Gary, that's the one I was thinking of! o_O
(Not sure why I requested it, because now I probably won't sleep for a couple of nights.)

If you have trouble sleeping GT, just know there might be another old guy in Kentucky having nightmares as well ! ;) 🤣

My late mother used to say, on occasion, "Be careful what you ask for."

Joseph Rodgers, Sheffield - it’s the weekend here and so I am bringing out the big gun for the chores on the property ahead. My equal heaviest folder at 8.4 ozs or 239g. Pretty much unused, a tank of a knife that takes a wicked edge.
Really need to wear a belt when carrying this in your pocket 😀

Thank you Jack...if I may use a first name being new here.
Absolutely, we're all friends here 🙂👍
Flipping heck, them Yorkshire prices you wouldn't get a ball of garden twine for £1.50 down south my way 🤣

I love these place names that are so specific West Yorkshire, west cornwall etc.on this tiny island it makes me smile.😁
LOL! 🤣👍
I went to post some goodies for old Army mates re united on FB.

Then down to the Tick-tock cafe for an English breakfast at lunchtime 😇

Nowadays there's more than one choice same as the coffee.

Back in the day it was full English with maybe a toast or bread choice and coffee was, well a coffee either black or white and frothy.

Certainly made life simpler, it took me 10 minutes to make my mind up.🤣

Then nipped into town for another coffee and to buy some quality tea.

Some woman started shouting my name across the cafe,I didnt recognise her (and thought I had done something wrong) after 30 years which didnt go down well.

She said I looked the same I couldn't return the compliment because I just didnt remember her,she left quite frosty, story of my life.😂

That old Lannys been in the street about 20 years.

That looks like a great cafe 😎 👍

I just love the worn look of that knife.
