What a great knife and it appears no critters are hiding in the wood neither. I have no idea of the age of it, but, it has a vintage look about it.

Nice lookin' pup too !  😊

Thank you JJ, with all this talk of vices, I thought I'd better get a few pics :D My mate carries those big vices around on his shoulder :D

LOL! :D I think Tool Man has £80 on that vice, but he'd give me a big discount! :D

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, ask him what he has to have for it.

I reckon shipping might be as much as the 25, but, I would love to have it. Hope he takes Paypal. 🤔

If it is too heavy and you risk hurting your back, then don't risk it. 😊

Lucy is beautiful and the IXL is a dandy !😊

Question...did your teachers worry about you when growing up? 🙃🙃
Now I may have to paint it black.

I suppose they might have, but, I did not notice the patterns until lately. I reckon it is a gift, sent from above, for old men living with Maine Coons. ;) 🤣

I bet I could ace one of those psychiatrists tests with the ink blots ........................ or get locked up in the insane asylum. 😲

Now I may have to paint it black ............ 🤣 .................. don't forget to rub the black off ! 🤣

I'll post 2 more stag-handled knives and 1 more horn-handled knife from my "Top Ten Stag/Horn Knives".

A Barlow and a Scout makes for a fantastic combination JJ, two wonderful old Imperials  :)

LOL! Good luck Todd :D

We have a friend who had a leg amputated up at the hip a few years ago. He was talking about positive mental attitude, and I told him I had another friend who has that in spades

I'll look forward to seeing that Jeff, my mate had a smashing Parkinson the other week, even bigger than the Record :) I very rarely see anvils for sale, they get snapped up so fast, and the prices are crazy!

You have put a lot of work in Mr P :) The long explanation is appreciated my friend, nice work

Thanks :)

Great pic! :)

Have a great Friday everyone :) Lucy is out of her box for the weekend! And, in a separate pocket, I have an old friend :)

What a nice thing to say. I appreciate that, Good Buddy.
I think everybody should have a friend like your one legged friend. If he can be happy, what’s my excuse?
After I spent half of 2012 paralyzed from the neck down, and being told twice that I was going to die, misdiagnoses, thankfully, I realized everyday is a gift!
Pony Jack with some seasonal accents …

every time I carry this one, “Pony Boy” gets stuck in my head … not a bad thing, but apparently a thing.
😎
I often have Dicky Betts songs running through my head, Paul. 👌
Useful and handsome pair of pocket knives.

I swear I just bought this almanac.

I had a professor use our perception of the passage of time as an illustration of Einstein’s theory of relativity.

So what does The Old Farmer’s Almanac say about the coming winter? If the acorn and nut crop is any indication, it’s gonna be a hard one. 🤔
TGIF. Have a great weekend everyone!

Did Buck start making the two bladed 301 after making our Forum Knife?
Sure hope you weren’t planning on any speying today!

More proof I'm a genius.
But the Almanac's kind of complicated.

My Robeson Jack with the weak snap on the main, and the nail breaker pen. On the average, it’s perfect.CF0F0D5B-3446-4654-8BB8-2B783D37F7E6.jpeg
And to stay on topic, here’s my Wright LF posed on my old bench vise.
At one of my client’s auto shop back in the ‘90s, I told the owner about the cheap vise I’d bought, and how it had simply come apart when I cranked it tight. He said “you can have this old one that was my Dad’s”…
He moved a pile of junk, and dragged out this filthy, rusty old thing. Massive, with six inch jaws.
I gave it a week’s soaking in kerosene in a five gallon bucket, and got it cleaned up. I’ll have to see if there’s a name on it.DBB5C50D-CE49-4CF6-B7FB-683AC20CD882.jpeg

Thanks!
You and me both, among others … I almost always have a track running in the background!
😁
You’re not the only one. Stay gold, Ed. Stay gold.
😁😁 Thanks!
And while I was referring to Dicky Betts and the ABB, I also appreciate your reference … !
I had to bring this up while I was driving. If this don’t make ya smile, ya got a hole in yer soul. 😃

Preach, Brother!
Thanks for the link, I grinned like an idiot through the whole thing! The man does things with such ease … flips the box, wraps around and comes back, tosses in a little sass as an afterthought … like you said, you just gotta smile …
😁😁😁
