Last Cherry Tomatoes of the season. I'll miss them when they are gone.
Boker BFF on my belt today.

Fresh tomatoes at this time of year is commendable, Gary. 🤙
We are muddling through with canned and frozen.
Birds nest on top of a gas lantern next to the house…what could possibly go wrong? 🫣
Made a cool pic, but it took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at.

Lost my focus.

Marigolds and puppies are a suitable focal point, Trav.

Schrade Walden 124. View attachment 1990242I have not been suffering from KAS (Knife Aquisition Syndrome) for a while now. But when I was, a couple of years ago, I was looking for all of the variations of what Schrade called the Serpentine Jack. This was the most elusive. Good candidate for using @JohnDF’s slip. It’s nice and stiff, si I don’t break the peachseed.

Wenger Canyon. View attachment 1990243I could not name the perfect Swiss Army Knife. It is too subjective based on my plans for the day, and what else is in my pocket. In this case, the small clip blade complements the long single blade of the 124, And the phillips blade is more useful to me than a corkscrew.View attachment 1990244
It’s a good day for my Otter Waxed boonie hat. Nobody likes wet snow down the back of their neck.

Yesterday, I finally put away the Cub Cadet ~ likely until spring. But first I brought up three more trailer loads of firewood, because our furnace decided to retire. New one coming tomorrow.

Have a fine Wednesday!
Hate the furnace retired.
Nice knives
Lost my focus.

You had focus on the correct item

Pulled out the Nontron Violin for knife content in an off topic Bunny Knife thread post
May as well toss into my pocket ... Wooden Wednesday and all

In the 70's, my father was national sales manager for American Candy Co and landed an account with Disney
He was presented with this original artwork from Disney Corporation and signed by Disney illustrator, colorist and layout artist
Alvin White, Gene Ware and Hawley Pratt, who all did the piece

Interesting friction folder Jer, what's the story?
I bought it maybe 10 or 15 years ago at an estate sale in an old farmhouse that hadn't changed hands in a long time. There was a wooden-works clock in a purpose-built niche in the kitchen, for instance.
I think the blade was cut out of a handsaw, and the wood just looks to me like it had been part of a partition in a barn. The other side is pale green.
