Thanks Jeremy.Pony Jack is a great choice Todd. Hope your Thanksgiving break gives you time to relax before the push to Christmas break.
Fantastic photo. Enjoy your family today.Haven’t posted much lately, but now that my work week is over I’ve got a nice glass of bourbon to go along with Skoll.

Thanks Bart. The fire this morning will go into early evening. Have a great day! Thanks, Todd. I gotta mix it up every once in a while.
Nice patina on that one, Todd. Perfect morning and from the looks of that fire, maybe into the afternoon.
Giving thanks for the two vintage Cases I found this year, to add to that collection. A 6165 SAB (10 dot c. 1970) and a 6207(c. 1965-69). I'll give thanks for family with my family tomorrow evening, since my cooking doesn't happen till then. For today, I hope to get in a nice long walk and watch the Bills and Lions game, then hope for a good nap with Elijah J.
Hope everyone has a fine Thanksgiving !

A yellow “Chiquita”! What a great combo! This week I'm carrying a half-dozen splendid knives that J Just Tom. generously sent me recently. Today I'll post a yellow synthetic Colonial Ranger jack, 4" closed with carbon steel clip/pen blade combo, "Ranger Ultra-Honed" blade etch, and "Chiquita" embossed on the mark side cover next to the Ranger shield. My understanding is that Ranger was a step up in build quality from the "regular" Colonial line. For example, the jack shown below does not have the shell construction, crimped-on bolsters (but the bolsters are not held on by "through-pins" either). Seems like a solid, bomb-proof knife that slices well.

Great pic ToddGot some side dishes made and a pie baked this morning. Now it’s time for a fire as the turkey cooks. Spitting rain here right now but that won’t hurt this fire or chase me inside. Have a great Thanksgiving to all those that celebrate it.View attachment 1997436
