What did GEC call that micarta?

Nice example of the 81 and a sweet shillelagh!
👍🏼👍🏼
btw I now have a red onion inbound … and yes I blame you … 😉
Thanks Ed G! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in the red onion. One can never have too many pocket knives nor shillelaghs. They’re both addictive; question is I don’t know which is more addictive. They’re ‘bout to put me in the poor house!🤪

Just wanted to share this pic of my current BF collection . I love the BF knives and have been fortunate to find these ones over the last few years . They are all a great knife in their own way , I love how individual they all are . Hoping to get this years Bunny knife to add to the collection . Thank you to all those people who have helped me get the ones I have 👌🙏 6C867082-DF50-41B5-BC93-DFD7A620991E.jpeg

Nice.
Is that a bit of irish blackthorn as well?
I’ve noticed a few of your walking sticks in your posts. Actually it’s not blackthorn; it’s pear. I cut them, hang them for at least a year, straighten them the best I can, and work them into walking sticks. I then finish them with black enamel paint and polyurethane. I think they make a “decent” substitute for blackthorn—-especially the ones with a lot of knuckles. I have a couple blackthorn sticks I really enjoy, but the shipping from Ireland to the US kills me.
